I would really love to hear the thought process that leads to this way of thinking. I believe this thoguht process is very dangerous. My understanding of this thought process is that leads to cruelty that only humans can justify.
Since few people that actually have this mind set are willing to rationally explain it then I guess I will have to continue on with my own thoughts.

This is the mind-set of extremists of all types. Just for fun (NOT) I spent a little time a year or so ago browsing a hardcore extremist "feminist" group's forum. At the time, these "feminists" were all up in arms about the pubic hair shaving trend. I learned that by shaving my naughty-bits, I was setting womankind back several centuries. Never mind the whole personal, individual choice thing - my actions somehow stood for something...well, really hairy, I guess. Ach, I'd best not go on.
Anyway, IMO these chickies were no more "feminists" than most of the far-right religious folk are "Christians." An extremist is an extremist; they manage to bring a bad reputation down on those they claim to represent, while totally mangling the actual belief system. They are both pathetic and dangerous, and I hold a very special (and dark) place in my heart for them all.
