Just a few things for what its worth
1) Dont base your fucking business on this post. Its been said here its not a great idea to go on what you read on a message board. with GFY this is doubly true.
2) It seems fishy that it would be only for a particular group. Sincerely. This is an all or nothing situation. The DOJ isnt going to just agree to prosecute folks who are not in a charter member unless massive money is exchanging hands and then it'd be on the secret wouldnt you think?
I no doubt that FSC members are a bit safer than the rest of us and membership is a great idea but this kind of scare tactic and mongering is rediculous. Either the DOJ will go for everyone or no one while this plays out. I'll admit its possible, but severely unlikely, they're going to pick only a small group to ignore.
Furthermore it would be TERRIBLY ill advised for the FSC to ignore a non-member getting prosecuted. Prosecution presents precedence that can hurt them severely in court. Not something they'll want to battle against. either they defend as many folks as they can or they shouldnt at all. No good lawyer wants to be trying to convince a judge a case is unenforcable or infringing while its being enforced in another court next door.
