I guess this is a newbie question...

I see lots of sponsors who say they pay $xx for trial signups - does this mean you only get credit for the trial and not if the surfer chooses a monthly?

I've been reading TOSs till my mind is mush, -some of them only say payouts for trial but don't mention regular monthly, and I've been assuming that is what it means.

does that sound right?
