Many LL owners here use XPL, so this is a note for all of you who, like me, have been waiting forever for the "update" to version 2.0.
Let me say there that I'm not dogging the script, and in fact I've been a big supporter of it up until now. Until recently I've gotten really fast support on technical issues. It's still a decent script, but it lacks many of the features that help a LL become successful nowadays and the guys who have been promising the update to v 2.0 (including all the features the current users want) for over a year have come out and said "don't hold your breath."
I've written I don't know how many emails asking for info on the update, and historically gotten no real response. Joe Black finally got the straight story, which follows:
Quote:
From Pentarh:
I am in vacation in Crimea now.
1. We don't do customizations - this is the policy and we are not offshore
programming company.
2. I can't forecast any xpowerlinks upgrades, because it going in a
lowest priority between 10's other projects we have. The last events in adult industry added so many tasks to do and so many risks to leave this business, - you see I cant give any forecasts, sorry.

So, these guys are busy with other things and won't be doing any work with XPL any time soon. I'm posting this mainly because I've been extremely frustrated by the lack of info on the update, I know several other users who are as well, and I'm assuming there are plenty more on this board who have been wondering.
I've finally gotten around to fixing one or two little things that irritate me about the script, for example the fact that you can't set your own default "featured status" "weight" and "rating" for submitted links, and I'm happy to share these fixes with anyone who asks, free of charge.
If there's something or other that irritates you about the script functionality wise and it's a minor thing, post it here and I'll see if I can do something about it, again...free of charge. I'm extremely familiar with the script at this point and I know my way around it pretty well
