I love getting up for an appointment with the vet and going in and waiting 30 minutes only to be surprised with being told he has to have more test and shots then what was told to me on the phone.
All this crap over a haircut.
All we wanted was to get his hair cut into a "lions cut" and since he is so high strung they would have to put him to sleep and then do the cut, total $100 or so. After making the appointment and answering their questions such as age ect we take him in and they then tell us since he is over 10 years old they have to run more test and crap on him so now the cost is $200.
Ha... we walked out. The $ isn’t the issue, the issue is being told one thing on the phone and another once we are there. Besides neither of us believes he needs all these test/shots since he is over 10 and in a protected environment, we had a cat who died of old age at 18 and currently have a 17 and a 12 year old as well as him, and none of them have had anywhere near the test and shots these people wanted to do to him that they couldn’t tell us on the phone about.
So we just wasted an hour and stressed our cat out for no reason.
Cleo – we also got a notice that our power will be off for an hour I think tomorrow for them to do maintenance, never had that before, must be a Florida thing.
