Even if his actions are all innocent, they are not the actions of a well adjusted man. He may have good reason not to be well adjusted, but he should be given help, not just accepted as an eccentric.

If someone is considered "crazy" or "psycho" they are usually given some kind of treatment by their local mental health authority. Early treatment of most disorders can arrest development of the more dangerous aspects of mental disorders.

Because Jackson was considered "eccentric" he has not been given help and so his problems have become greater with time.
