I don't do *too* terribly with type-ins, although it's hard to gauge exactly how many I get with awstats, my ad is one that lists all niches and blabs on, so *might* entice someone to type in, I dunno.
Gotcha on the 404/fusker girl, was mainly saying that an aggressive 404 on say freesite domains when making a gebuine mistake would get a person BLd quicker than a 404 to the freesite root, or a persons hub/LL etc. I'm talking about a mainpage that has a typo and is a character out linking to a gallery or some such, not people taking down sites altogether and 404ing to their said hub. I know you are much more experienced than I, my post was for any newer webmasters who may not have foreseen the scenario I went through. I'm not even sure why the hell I brought 404 up, I tend to make my points hard to understand, no wonder my sales suck lol
All that said, I'm still confused (not hard) - fusker hotlinks and doesn't redirect, correct? So I assume hotlinking is the problem, in which case if you wanted to fuck fu*ker and the people who use it, you can specify tubgirl as your hotlink image for them only, and use a less shocking pic for your normal hotlink in case you make the same mistake I did I believe. No idea what the command would be, but I've no doubt someone here can let you know it japamor
