I have spent the moring so far on the phone with my son's school. He's a senior but ranked much lower. He is dropping out and going for his GED. He has struggled since kindergarden as he has severe LD. I really got pissed off this morning with the school. They all have to take the fcat, and pass it to graduate. Well it's not fair to grade all kids on the same level in my opinion. My son is not going to be able to pass it like kids that don't have learning problems. But no, they place them all in the same group. I think this is unfair...
So I told him welcome to the real world now son. Time to go to work full time and pay rent. Which you will now do for the rest of your life!
I'm sure the school is glad to be rid of me and I told them in a not so polite way good-bye....
