(This does not necessarily mean you did not get the visitors they say, it is more likely they are either dumping unsellable traffic on you (eg surfers who do not speak English) or it comes from a pay per click company (where people are paid to visit your site, so do so with no interest whatsoever in buying, just visit as many sites as possible in as short a time as possible to get paid)).
RE "So what can I do right now to help my situation" As I said in my previous post, I'd go down the "make lots of free sites" route myself, and also TGP posting if you have the time. Your best bet, if you have no idea what I am talking about, is to go to the index page of this site (
http://www.greenguysboard.com ) and scroll down to near the bottom where you will find a green table filled with links to other WM sites. Some of those sites contain tutorials, read through them. If those sites don't contain enough info for you then look for similar lists of WM sites on those sites for even more WM sites. If you do not understand some bits of the articles you read you can always come back here and ask someone to explain.
