Let me clarify my "US based" statement - if I was going to look into a company that I did not know of or didn't know someone that worked there, it'd be a US based company.
But I do have independent contractors that I pay monthly that live in Australia & Canada & if I was looking to get something done & let's say Fonz could do it for me, I'd have no problem hiring him for the task.
