Supreme Court of Canada says swingers clubs with group sex, swapping are legal

OTTAWA (CP) - The Supreme Court of Canada says Canadian standards will tolerate sex clubs featuring group sex and partner swapping amid spectators.
Ruling on two similar Montreal cases that went in opposite directions in the provincial appeals court, the justices say the test for indecency is the harm it causes, not simply community standards.
The 7-2 decision says group sex or partner swapping in a private club doesn't cause harm to society and shouldn't be criminal.
The cases involve two swingers clubs in Montreal that allowed sex acts, including swapping.
