Three possibilities come to mind, the first you have probably tried, but incase you have not : If you are going to your site from a bookmark, you have checked that your bookmarks are correct haven't you, and have not become corrupted ?
Second possibility, it could be your ISP's dns lookup. My provider had a problem with that DNS server once where there were a few domain names it could not find.
Third possibility, where is your server? Have you been able to visit sites that you know are on servers that are hosted by the same company as your sites, or companies in a similar location. I have had problems in the past when my ISP looses one or more of it's connections to a country.
There is another possibility, but I do not understand it, so I'll just pass on what my ISP said. A few weeks back when a lot of sites were coming up "not found" even though they were up and running my ISP e-mailed everyone to say that this was the fault of a particular website, I cannot remember which one, and it was causing problems to several ISP's in that it was causing DNS lookups to fail. I have no idea how this is possible, or what the hell they were talking about, but it might be worth looking into with your ISP (then again it might not).
