Well MadMax, I would say: "This rule is against the all webmasters, especially the webmasters from Europe".
And there is one more idea about the spelling errors. Some people specially do this errors to get some traffic from SE. I don't think that it's possible for any free site to be in a top10 by any popular keyword, but it's easy to be in a top10 by a keyword with spelling error. This is the second reason why this rule is against the webmasters.
