Well, as anyone I've worked for will tell you, I'm a lazy fucker. I need deadlines and explicit instructions or I just don't perform well. So, working for myself can be hazardous.
I was already pretty bad about keeping pace with reviewing before the recent influx of bastages and corksuckers. They just pushed me over the edge. I like having open submissions because I reap some sick level of enjoyment out of reviewing newbies and helping them along the way. But we both know that the newest arrivals came straight off the blue bus and can't be helped. Not without a lead-filled club and a shovel anyway.
