I lived in a city for a long time. I was lucky to bought an apartment from downtown in our capital city when they still were cheap. 1996 I met my wife, fell in love, and now I live in other city, away from downtown. When I first moved here, 8 years ago, I sat on the sofa and tried to listen. I didn't hear anything. Totally quiet. No trams, no cars, not anybody walking outside. It was ghostly, but I have been used to it. Now we have some more voices. Neighbours have children now...
