My girlfriend's computer got another virus, this time "trojan.lowzones", which is a nice rootkit type deal. I don't know where she manages to get this shit from... it's truly amazing. Some of this stuff is really VERY hard to get rid of, embedding itself in various startup locations. This one looked easier, but it was very persistant and online help was very thin on the ground.

Windows update is next, I guess.
