basschick - there's a difference between answering a question & contributing to the board.
99.44% of the people that post here do so to learn as well as to help others.
Some people just post for the sake of posting.
Some people just post regarding their program/product.
This was the case with Ounique. Jim spoke to them twice about their posting practices - hell, they even admitted that they search for "content" on Board Tracker & then spam their site.
We asked that they please not post in the General Forum if their topics were going to always be about their product.
We even said that we'd bend the rules if they donated 100 pics to our webmasters. 100 measly fucking pictures!!!! They could not even do that for you, the webmasters thay are trying to sell content to.
Ounique's posts, while at times may look to be helpful, are there for one reason & one reason only - to promote Ounique's products.
