Run into that type of thing a lot with free scripts but the template is pretty easy to edit (and you would definately want to so it has some style) so that it would work in opera.

And at least you know that going in...I once edited a template very heavily before I checked it for browser cross-compatibility and when I checked, it wasn't. Hours later, after combing through all the code I had just added and all the CSS...I found the problem in the basic template.
