I feel for you.
Last year my wife and baby spent a month in Ukraine while I stayed here. An hour before I took them to the airport I got a phone call telling me my mother had passed.
I missed them both bad and for me the worst part was the house being so damn quite. A few days I couldn't stay home at all. It was a good time to play video games, watch guy movies and call old friends.
Good luck and get out of the house a bit. If you're like my wife and me then it won't be a bad thing and you'll appreciate her a bit more when she returns
