When CD players came I didn't like digital music at all.
I bought CD player as soon as I saw one. It was Sony. Disc was up in it, beneath a window, and you could see it spinning like crazy. It was expensive. Bruce Springsteen's 'Born In The USA' was new, and it was first CD I bought. Sound was too hard, I liked vinyls more.
I still have 3 vinyl players. Two Technics 1200 players in my old disco table and 1 Linn.
I try to digitize all my music, because I have Musicmatch Jukebox in my PC. It's so easy to listen music while you work. I can make all kinds of play lists and just choose the one I want, depending my mood.
After all, when you listen vinyls, you must get up after 15-20 minutes and flip the record and start to listen again.
EDIT: I'm an old fart. I don't like today's music much. I listen old music mostly. Younger generation can keep their hip hops, trances and whatever shit they listen. I like real music.
