One thing I like to do when setting things up online or anything else online, I use one email address I made up for that purpose only. I know that anything you do online will eventuallly somehow get on mailing lists, be picked up by spam bots....etc. Most of the time I use a hotmail one when asking for info on something specific from an online source.
