But also, that is correct that some (most) link lists only allow one submission per day per webmaster. This can be for many reasons, but generally doing one a day is a good start. For my link directory (not a link list
) I don't place limits right now and usually review sites within 24 hours. So if you decide to submit 1000 a day to us, it might take more than 24 hours to review them all...lol
My advice is that gallery sites will always provide you with some search engine potential, but if you can, try to be creative with your designs because the one thing most LL's are tired of are the same old style every day, every month, every year....dare to be different but at the same time, try to stay within the typical guidelines of design.

There's lots more to the list, and hopefully I will get my butt in gear and write out the tutorials I will have in my webmasters section. As for galleries, I know most will say and agree, build your galleries, submit to TGP's etc, but also accompany these with Gallery Sites. It would also be nice to consider these as make and forget type sites, but once and while you may need to go back and update a site or two.
One piece of advice....its all about networking. Get to know your link list and link directory webmasters well and you won't have problems later. Try not to get into any arguments with anyone. If you ever have an issue with one, just say thank you for your time and move on to the next. No sense in creating more problems and stress for yourself, you are (or will be) very busy. Work this like an actual business because in a sense it really is a business. Build the sites and galleries for yourself and for your surfer in mind. Keep learning and reading from the forums and ask tons of questions...
