Yesterday I was about to mail off the largest IRS tax check I ever had.
I double checked it last night, slept on it then smoked it over again this morning.
Well guess what, I found a huge mistake. The 36K I paid in 2005 for mortgage interest and property taxes for my home never got computed in and after recomputing it lowered my IRS tax bill by over 10K.
It's like finding money.
Sad part is I lost a little confidence in my CPA!
