I would not call it extortion money. The money is paid to Visa and that's Visa charge for processing Adult. They get more chargebacks and have to process and fight that crap. I personnaly don't mind the $750.00 and then $350 every year after, because ccbill scrubs pretty good. I'm not willing to risk my account for a few shit heads who constantly chargeback on internet purchases. I get enough of them and Visa takes away 60% of my customers purchase power. Guess what? The customer maybe pulls out a Master Card if you have a really good site and pays, but they won't be back 90% of the time. The money is paid for the risk factor, if they want to take away my processing they better have a good reason because that's what I paid my $750 for (risk insurance). I'm a totally legal business and I wrote off both charges in taxes. You have to pay for things in business and I see processing as the most important. Important things cost money because people know you need them.
