Hosting in this biz is far too important to cheap out on it.
I always cringe when I see the spammers hitting the boards with their "Dirt Cheap Hosting" crap. Invariably there's a thread weeks or months later where that host has fucked up and sites are down
Newbies...don't buy into the whole "cheap hosting" pitch. Do some research...spend a few bucks and get a quality host. By comparison to just a few years ago, you can get a top line host these days for very reasonable prices
