Morning folks
What a day! Today we were filming for the Swedish national television. Later this year they are going to air a history program where they actually do the wars (the wars between Sweden and Denmark) practiacally, just to see if the tactics were possible.
So today we were doing the 1676
Battle of Lund, the bloodiest battle in Scandinavian history.
The accuracy in paintball guns on a windy day are very close to old guns, that's why they were using us for this reenactment.
The Danes tactic was to fire one shot at long range and one when the Swedes got closer. Not a very good idea considering the accuracy of the old guns and and that they didn't dare to look at the Swedes. Just because they were intimidated by the Swedes.
The Swedes tactic is to fire only when you see the white of the eye on the Danes.
Historically, Sweden never lost a battle.
Today, Denmark won all the 3 test battles.
Pretty cool experience to see the whole filming behind it all
