First of all, to fill up your LL I'd recommend signing up to www.hfslinks.com
It's a service run by ChopSmith and it provides you with all the hosted freesites (complete with tyitles and descriptions) you'll ever need.

Your design is very nice if you ask me. So no bad comments from me on that one. I think what you have here now is a very good first try

The only thing I see that's maybe a bit off is that your site doesn't fit a 800x600 resomution. But then again, it's your site you can do with it whatever you want. And it doesn't have to get listed with the LL's like a freesite.
