1st off, are you using a script to track outgoing hits to these programs? If so, how far off are the numbers? (some programs count differently, like 2nd page hits instead of 1st page)
As far as the counter & server stats, I don't see how those numbers would match anything in the sponsor's stats area, since not everyone that visits your site would be clicking on a link to go to a sponsor.
