I know only too well how annoying it is to see yourself on someone elses pages, I've got a list of abusers myself, so I certainly wouldn't use someone elses images unless I'd bought and paid for them and frankly, would rather just remove them rather than cause offence / break copyright. Afterall, we worked out that we've got about 250K images now, so 2 or 3 sets is just a drop in the ocean, even though she is stunning!
As for animated banners - I agree, times and tastes change and the new owners can do anything they like with them, once we've got our £££ of course - lol.
