Deleting com.apple.Safari.plist in your home library preferences should default Safari back to normal. Be sure Safari isn't running when you do this.
I used Safari enhancer to turn on the Debug menu but it doesn't actually do anything to Safari. It just modifies its prefs to turn on hidden features.
I mostly use Safari because it properly supports right mouse click and it is so well integrated into the OS. Also its bookmarks, password, etc. sync automatically between computers using my Dot Mac account and iSync. It's sweet being able to login from anyone's Mac and all my bookmarks, addresses, appointments, passwords, etc. are right there.
I do use a few plug-ins for Safari through.

And while not a Safari plug-in Firefox doesn't support this because it doesn't properly support right mouse click.
Gives multiple clipboards and other stuff.

I do use Firefox for my geek work and doing reviewing. The webdevelopers' toolbar rocks.
