Yeah - what the fuck is the "heat index"? Is that the opposite of "wind chill"? All the local news people talked about yesterday was the heat & how we should not leave the elderly outside & make sure they have plenty of water. It was 87 - that's nothing! I remember summer 2001 had 8 or 9 days over 90 & it didn't rain for 7 weeks. Two days of heat & all of a sudden, that's all that matters. Global warming is coming - Al Gore was right once again |shocking|
So good fucking morning
Day 2 of my laptop adventures - I actually got a lot done yesterday, but the laptop is not nearly as fast as the PC - it's sort of like an old car that runs great once it gets going. As soon as I'm done here, I'll go check my mail & Eudora will crawl along for 5 minutes or so & then work fine. But once I go back to IE, I'll have to wait for it to get warmed up before it decided to work
I can't wait for the weekend
