750 should be ok, but were there margins or something else that would make it overlap beyond 800. I didn't check your table size or anything fancy like that I just forced my browser to 800x600.
My recommendation is check the site manually before you submit them, because code can do funny things to page size -- as MrYum pointed out to me when one of my css driven free-sites went beyond 800 wide in Firefox when it shouldn't have.
30 seconds worth of checking is worth it to get listed at Link-O-Rama, an 800 px stickler.
