I used to manage a store (a candy store yum yum) where there was a set amount of time each day that we
had to get out and 'sample' the passersby. Yes, we had a lot of people coming back just for the free stuff, but it
DID make more people buy, too. Why else do you think they do it? It's all in the way you look at it.
