I also wanted to ask (not as important as the original topic), what about linking to a php file that redirects to the sponsor? Ive seen on other types of sites, not link lists or free sites, people linking to a php file that uses a header redirect (Im guessing). There are some pretty good advantages to this. If that sponsor sucks balls, deletes your account or goes under, you only have to change 1 file to change the links to point to somewhere else. Another thing is that these types of redirects can get listed in google as "paysite name" and get you a few sales this way.
