Unless you are hiding under a rock, you have to know that today is the one year anniversary of Katrina hitting New Orleans. I watched NBC's special last night that was a kind of behind the scenes of the making of the news last year. It was really good and enlightening. Brian Williams from NBC had to have Federal Agents circle him while he did the broadcast last year because they all feared for his life. He carried a case of Vienna Sausages to bargain for his life if his car was ever broken into.

Of course, it wasn't until one year ago tonight when the government blew up the levees to save the middle class neighborhoods. (Just kidding...or am I?) After all, that is what they did in 1927 on film without hesitation.
