Linkster, I believe it is about 4 days from the anniversary of the day you called us to offer help after we got stranded in Jackson for 15 hours during evacuation.
Again, even though we had already gotten back on the road and were in Missouri when you called, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's amazing how lost and alone we felt then. Just knowing that there were people that gave a damn was a pivotal key in our recovery.
Thank you for trying to help us, and thank you and your friends for volunteering and helping the people in need.
As a sample of Mississippi Recovery, tonight Carol and I rode to Biloxi and checked out the Beau Rivage's grand reopening. We then came back through Long Beach and stopped at the Cajun Crawfish Hut and had fried shrimp, crawfish, oysters, gator, and mushrooms.
Next time you are in the area, be sure and let me know and the eats are on me as a small token of my gratitude.
