Well, predictably enough I received no reply from my first letter, which is not unexpected.
Ordinarily at this point I would write a second letter, expecting no reply. Then I would reapply for a new elite account. (I signed up for an elite account the day after zilla started the program, and have lost and regained the account at least twice before, maybe three times, my memory is a bit unclear.)
I have every reason to believe I would be given a new account, but I'm not going to apply. I'm planning on getting out of the gallery posting business. All the fun has gone out of it for me, and while it is still profitable there are other areas of my business that make more profit, so I expect to be happier and make more money by shifting my valuable work time and resources to other processes.
I feel kinda dumb for buying that easypics pass, but that will be used up in a year, which is a reasonable length of time to close down my gallery posting process.
For now I'm conducting that part of my business with this philosophy- if the TGP acts adversarial and arrogant, they get deleted from my submit list. I think of it as my "burning bridges" policy. ;-}
Anybody remember when gallery posting was cool and fun and friendly, as well as profitable?
