I know, I'm a firm believer in 'you get what you pay for' too. My point is that if you're promised certain services, you should get them - no matter how much or little you're paying for it. To some people, $20 is a lot of money, and it doesn't mean they're not serious about their business. If a host tells me they have 24/7 customer support well then they better damn well answer me at 3am when I'm having a problem
Every host is going to have downtime, I don't care what they say - shit happens. How a host deals with problems is very important to me. That's why I say what I do about Webair, they've handled all of my inquiries quickly and efficiently. (and I really have not had any downtime anyway)
If I had lots of $$ then I'd be with Colo (someday!) but right now I need the best deal for my money, not the cheapest, but the best. Webair has that.
and I wouldn't touch Godaddy with someone else's 10 ft pole
