Thanks, although I'm not sure about "original". Both were designed to fit with existing tours and further constrained by needing to accomodate images which had already been posted.
But it's good they give that impression because obviously no-one wants to spend good money on a blog, just to have it look just like dozens of others.
They use only CSS (no tables), validate fully (except for a minor glitch on one site created by a plugin) and there has been some SE optimisation already. But I'm likely to be adding more: making the URL's more SE friendly, adding tags and so on. All Ruth's tour may be modified now so that it more closely matches the blog in terms of width, sidebar background colors, etc. I'm quite happy with the way they are developing.
