The consensus seems to be...submit to the niche. But, always read the rules for each link site. If they want ALL movies sites in the movies category, they'll usually let you know

If you're having difficulty getting listed, perhaps it would be a good idea to post up a site and ask for review. Or, to contact those link lists rejecting your sites and ask them why.
