I have a pretty large list that I have been going to go through and prune for over a year now. I feel you should manually do this since some of the places on most lists require you submit your site first, some of them won't accept adult, some of them will no longer be in existance, some of them....you get the idea.
In the mean time, I ping ping-o-matic which in return pings feedburner, which in turn pings a couple of places.
