Apparently, an infested system has a db downloaded and attached to the browser. When a keyterm in the db is matched in the browser, a pop under is launched with a different affliate code...thereby overwriting your affiliate code. Being the 2nd (newer) affiliate code, the zango affiliate gets the sale...not YOU.
Opinions vary as to how widespread this is, but apparently it's spreading quickly. And zango is one of many malwares doing this shit. No wonder sales continue to drop  |
