In Movie Maker you can specify the size of the saved file.
Once the file is edited:
Tasks.....Save to my computer....check the "Best to fit file size" and pick a size by adjusting the KB/MB and using the up & down arrows.
I try and keep movies to under 1MB.

that's good to know, I haven't really done much with WMM except for take screencaps so I have lots to learn. I'll try that & see what happens

That's why I wanted to stick with mpegs, I'm scared of hotlinking lol. But then I hear from other people that any movie file is hotlinkable, regardless of your htaccess. So I don't know what to think
I'll try the wmv, see if that solves the problem, and go from there.
