Hosted galleries are only for sending your own traffic to, not submitting to other places.
As far as using sponsor content the key is in finding fresh content to use. If it has been used by a bunch of other webmasters already then you aren't going to get listed.
Buying fresh content is the only way to go if you want really good listings.
