Thats the intent of the get together to be able to spend more quality time with each other. I was lucky enough to do this in Vegas last year at the GG&J's social. I would like to return the favor.
When we started doing the Fat Fucking Nobodies Ball it was total departure from the Players Ball.
Theres a lot of emphasis on people being "players", bling bling and all that horse shit. In reality those things attract the type of people that haveno business to do. They are there to get their drink on.
Im not.
I stood around one such "party" only because it was down the hall in the hotel. Where I watched DMoney come in and pluck 5 people out of the crowd that I know didnt have any traffic between all of them. Just "players". Keep in mind they had about 50 people with VIP passes as guests of those throwing the party that were passed over to get some local celebrity DJs into the party with some porn ass. I wont even go into how I saw 2 legit industry film stars turned away.
Guess D$ prefered the sausage.
I did more business 3 hours prior to that buying donuts and talking to people.
Thats what this is all about. Its a chance to do a little networking, not break the bank, not fly 4 fucking hours to the west coast and catch a break outside of the traditional show setting.
We dont get a kick back from the hotel.
We dont have any registration or badges.
And we dont want any money from you.
All we are interested in is a little fellowship. Please come its very cheap if your close by. The casinos there arent the gouging type. $20 betting will get you a free pass to dinner.
Whats amusing to me is the number of companies that have contacted me today about sponsorship.
