I could have sworn you told us that yesterday.
Finally getting caught up from the avalanche of the last few weeks. After watching Everest on Discovery channel, my wife says I cannot climb Everest. Tonight's episode covers the descent of one of the teams and should be quite interesting.
Its so easy now with all the ropes and ladders... where's the challenge in that?
It amazes me to see the amount of technology taken up nowadays, the technology that supports the team, the high tech foods, etc. and then I remember that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norga did it without guide ropes having been laid first, without ladders to traverse, without the high tech tents, oxygen bottles, high calorie food, satellite weather forecasting, etc.
Not too many great frontiers to discover now.
Well, I guess the Moon in 2024, or mars after that.
Hopefully if there is a radio show I'll be able to make it. Have a few things on the schedule today that conflict.
And driving a modern day car without the serpentine belt -- not advisable. I know its cheaper to manufacture, but, no power steering, no a/c, no alternator, no waterpump all in one shot.

Repair shop is earning their Christmas bonus for sure.
