Seems like most free sites use sponsor content.
I have a few questions about that.
1) I have a hard time getting links in the first place,
a lot of link lists just never respond, etc.
How is it possible to get a good bunch of trades using the
same content as hundreds of other webmasters?

You have to be creative with your freesites. Even though you may use the same sponsor content as others, you can still get it listed if you make it look nice. Although, some sponsor content sucks (vid caps), it is still possible on most lists.

Most sponsors are now giving you the 2257 information, which you can put up and link to from your content pages.

You don't have to remember what you put on each IMO. Put them up, submit them, forget them, build another one.

Do you find it difficult to build a free site or 2 every day and
keep getting links from the link lists? Are they used to that or do they have a limit? I mean I know PK says 2, etc. If so, how do you manage that? What is your routine for getting links on new sites every day and verifying that you get them?
Thanks!

No, I don't find it difficult. With practice you will get faster at it. But yes, most linklists have a set number of freesites that you can submit daily. Some take 1 a day, some 2, some 3, some 5, etc.. Some of the LL's will send out rejection / approval notices, and some will not. You can always check your server stats to see where the traffic is coming from. Hope this helps a little.
