I'm really stunned that they'd have the balls to make such a request, and I too am certain that a lack of submissions will force them to change. Hell, if you asked most submitters to create a 100
CHARACTER description, you'd get some pissed off people. 100 words is a blog post. In fact, if you are going to write 100 words to describe a free site, you'd probably be better off slapping that chunk of text on your own blog, linking to the free site from within that text and sit back while the aggregators and SEs pick up your keyword infested feed, instead of submitting to link lists.
