The advantage of bought content is that you are not tied to a sponsor. You build a site, it's yours, and if a sponsor dicks you around you replace them. And if that content cost you a large amount of money, like, say $20, it's a small price to pay. If you don't make a profit over the course of 6 months or so, you're probably using the wrong sponsor, not marketing it very well, or in the wrong biz.
