Enter is a very powerful word/click-pulling tool, as is "Click Here".
On the first page of a freesite the surfer is gong to be looking for the word "Enter" to get to the content, so Link List owners only want to see it in one place, and that's the entry point to to the main page.
Regarding the rest of a freesite, I have used banners with "Enter" on them in the past, but now I don't
just in case it causes a refusal - better to be listed with fewer clicks than rejected with none, and I'm led to believe that no "Enter" on those banners will give less clicks.
"Click Here" I avoid
sometimes as it may also cause a rejection at some link lists, namely Hoes, and they send lots of traffic. I'm sure there's a debate about "Click Here" versus "Hoes Traffic" but at the moment I'm doing okay when I don't use "Click Here"....I think.
I'm think I made that explanation way too complicated - I seem to do that with a lot of things.
